    Tier-I

    One computer-based objective paper in Hindi and English with four sections of 25 questions each. One-half mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Screening for Tier-II; marks not counted in the final merit.

    • Tier-I Computer Based Examination: 200 marks · 100 Qs · 60 minutes
  2. 2

    Tier-II

    Computer-based. Paper I is compulsory for every post; Paper II (Statistics) only for Junior Statistical Officer candidates. One mark is deducted for each wrong answer in the scored sections of Paper I. Final merit list.

    • Mathematical Abilities and Reasoning: 180 marks · 60 Qs · 1 hour
    • English and General Awareness: 210 marks · 70 Qs · 1 hour
    • Computer Knowledge and Data Entry Speed Test: 60 marks · 20 Qs + typing test · 15 + 15 minutes
    • Statistics (JSO only): 200 marks · 100 Qs · 2 hours
