How AI Is Used Here

A plain-language account of what our AI does, what it does not, and what a human still checks.

1. What is AI-generated on this site

  • Article first drafts for current affairs and explainer pieces.
  • Selection of which news items are worth covering, based on a scored relevance rubric.
  • Automated cross-linking between an article and matching NCERT concepts and previous-year questions from our verified bank.
  • Short summaries, translations, and explanatory blocks inside interactive features.

2. What a human still does

  • Every article is reviewed by a human editor before publication. Nothing goes live automatically at launch.
  • Sources, statistics, and any previous-year question citations are verified by hand against primary sources and our question bank.
  • Sensitive coverage (courts, elections, named individuals) is checked line-by-line before it is published.

3. The safeguards we run before an article is queued

  • The draft is checked for close paraphrase against the source. If the overlap crosses a set threshold, it is rewritten.
  • Any previous-year-question citation is confirmed to exist in our verified bank. Fabricated citations are stripped.
  • Adjectives that pass moral judgment on named individuals are flagged and removed unless attributed to a source.
  • Matters that are before a court are limited to neutral factual reporting.
  • During any Election Commission Model Code period, political coverage is switched to strictly neutral mode.

4. Limits you should know about

AI systems can be wrong even after these checks. Please treat every article as a study aid, not as a substitute for primary sources. For exam preparation, always cross-check against NCERT, standard reference books, and the official exam calendar.

If you spot an error, tell us at [email protected] or through the Grievance Redressal process. Material corrections are logged transparently.

5. Your data and AI

We do not send your account information, bookmarks, or reading history to any AI model in a way that would identify you. Prompts sent to third-party AI providers to draft articles do not include reader data. Where AI-assisted features run on data you provide (for example, a question you ask an on-site tutor widget), the data is sent to the provider only to answer that request and is handled under our Privacy Policy.
